As part of Craft Cubed Festival and facilitated by Jane Sawyer, founder of Slow Clay Centre, Heide will present a talk and demonstration with exhibiting Franco-Beninese artist King Houndekpinkou who blends materials and ideologies from multiple continents to create works that draw on the creativity and craftsmanship of Japan while being reminiscent of Benin's animist cult of Voodoo.
